Salisbury University Community Champions
Sea Gull student-athletes give back to their surrounding community in the city of Salisbury and throughout the Eastern Shore each and every year. Such activities from the past year include an annual food drive sponsored by the SU Athletic Training staff, Habitat for Humanity performed by the field hockey team and countless hours spent with elementary school students by several of the sports teams. Members of the volleyball team help to donate SU athletic
gear and equipment to be used by victims of Hurricane Katrina.

SU football players hangout with children from a local
Wicomico County elementary school at one of the weekly
football luncheons held in the fall.

The SU field hockey team volunteers at the American
Cancer Society Conference.
During the fall there is a weekly football coaches luncheon held
at The Commons. Coach Wood and members of the team welcome
a local elementary school each week.
