Free digital programs offered for NCAA field hockey, volleyball tournaments

INDIANAPOLIS – In an effort to go green, the NCAA has limited the practice of producing hard copy tournament programs. For the second year, programs will still be produced, but for select championships, they will only be made available electronically, free of charge.

These changes will affect Salisbury University fans for NCAA-qualifying teams in field hockey, and volleyball, both of which begin postseason play this weekend. The electronic versions of the programs for this week's Division III tournaments will be available at the links below. At each championship site handouts with QR (Quick Response) codes will be available, allowing fans to bring up the championship program on their properly equipped smart phones.

Salisbury will host an NCAA volleyball regional at Maggs Physical Activities Center beginning on Friday, Nov. 9 and running through the regional championship match on Sunday, Nov. 11. The No. 14 Sea Gulls open play Friday night at 8 p.m., against Mount Saint Mary (N.Y.) College. The fourth-ranked Salisbury field hockey team will host second- and third-round matches this weekend at Sea Gull Stadium, with the Gulls opening play in the tournament on Saturday morning at 11 a.m., against an opponent yet to be determined.
