SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University baseball team's season and home opener against Virginia Wesleyan College has been pushed back one day to Feb. 11 at 2 p.m., while the second game of the season series will now be played on Feb. 17 at 1 p.m., on the road in Virginia Beach, Va.
Salisbury swept the series with the Marlins last season, winning 7-4 and 8-2 on Feb. 15 and March 28, respectively.
The Sea Gulls were 34-9 and advanced to their 13th consecutive and 18th overall NCAA tournament after claiming the program's 10th Capital Athletic Conference title last year. The Gulls played in the NCAA Newport News Regional final, falling to Christopher Newport University.
