First Varsity Club luncheon set for Aug. 30
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University Varsity Club will host its first Coaches' Luncheon of the fall athletic season Thursday, Aug. 30 at noon in the Caroline Room of the Commons.
Salisbury football Head Coach Sherman Wood will be speaking at the luncheon, giving insight and perspective into his team this year as the Sea Gulls prepare for their season opener at Christopher Newport University. In addition to Wood, throughout the fall, other Salisbury University head coaches will be present to offer an inside look into their respective programs. The schedule for these coaches will be determined on a week-by-week basis.
The cost of lunch is $8.90 plus tax per adult and $4.57 plus tax for children ages 6-12. Parking is available on campus or at the Salisbury University Foundation House, located at 1308 Camden Avenue. Guests do not need to be Varsity Club members to attend luncheons.
