Salisbury still No. 1 in latest USILA coaches' poll

BALTIMORE - The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released its weekly Division III men's lacrosse coaches' poll on Monday and Salisbury University remains No. 1. This is the fourth straight week that the Sea Gulls (7-0) have been No. 1 team in the poll. SU received all 15 first-place votes and 300 total points.

SUNY Cortland (4-0), the Division III finalist from last season, remains at No. 2 for the second consecutive week receiving 283 points. Capital Athletic Conference member Stevenson University received 271 points and stays at No. 3. Roanoke College (7-0) and Ithaca College (5-0) each moved up one spot from last week to round out the top five with 256 and 227 points respectively.

Tufts University (3-0) and Denison University (2-1) are welcomed back into the Top 20 after not receiving enough votes last week. Denison received 29 votes after a 19-9 win over then No. 9 Lynchburg College 19-9 in Charlottesville, Va., last weekend.
