Sea Gulls move up one to No. 9 in latest USILA coaches' poll

BALTIMORE - The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team climbed one spot to No. 9 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division III coaches' poll, the organization announced on Monday.

The Sea Gulls improved their season record to 4-2, this week, with wins over McDaniel College and, No. 15 Gettysburg College. 

After receiving 207 points, SU was able to move ahead of Washington and Lee University, as the teams switched positions. W&L moved down to replace the Gulls at No. 10 with 191 points.

State University of New York at Cortland (353 points), Stevenson University (344 points) and Lynchburg College (315 points) kept hold of the top three spots. Dickinson College moved up three spots to No. 4, and Tufts University dropped one spot to round out the top five. Cabrini College had the biggest drop, falling from No. 4 to No. 12.

Salisbury will be back in action on Sunday at Sea Gull Stadium, as it hosts Ohio Wesleyan University at 1 p.m.
