Men's lacrosse ranked No. 1 after 3-0 week

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team was named the unanimous top team in the nation according to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll and rankings released on Monday for the second-straight week.

The Sea Gulls (10-0) stayed unbeaten following a three-win week. The Gulls beat Marymount (Va.) University, Southern Virginia University, and No. 18 Roanoke College last week to become the only undefeated team in the country with double-digit wins.

In the USILA poll, the Gulls got the top spot with all 23 first-place votes and 460 points. The rest of the top five is comprised of Tufts University (433 points), Ithaca College (412 points), St. Lawrence University (378 points), and York College of Pennsylvania (368 points).

In the ranking, Salisbury is followed by Ithaca, Tufts, St. Lawrence, and York.

Salisbury's next game will be played on Wednesday, March 29 at Wesley College at 4 p.m.
