Gulls stay perched atop national polls

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team was named the unanimous top team in the nation for the third-straight week according to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll and rankings released on Monday.

The Sea Gulls (12-0) stayed unblemished following a two-win week. The Gulls got the best of Wesley College and St. Mary's College of Maryland, combining to outscore them 51-9.

In the USILA poll, the Gulls got the top spot with all 21 first-place votes and 420 points. The rest of the top five is comprised of Tufts University (399 points), York College of Pennsylvania (361 points), Bates College (351 points), and State University of New York- Cortland (308 points).

In the ranking, Salisbury is followed by Tufts, York, Cortland, and Denison University.

Salisbury's next game will be played on Wednesday, April 5 at home against Christopher Newport University.
