SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team has been named the unanimous top team in the nation for the fourth-straight week according to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll and Laxmagazine.com rankings released on Monday.
The Sea Gulls (14-0) got a pair of wins over Capital Athletic Conference playoff teams in Christopher Newport University, 17-5, and Frostburg State University, 16-9.
In the USILA poll, the Gulls got the top spot with all 22 first-place votes and 440 points. The rest of the top five is comprised of Tufts University (418 points), York College of Pennsylvania (383 points), Bates College (376 points), and Rochester Institute of Technology (328 points).
In the Laxmagazine.com ranking, Salisbury is followed by Tufts, York, Denison University, and Dickinson College.
Salisbury's next game will be played on Wednesday, April 12 at home at 7 p.m., against No. 3 York.
