YORK, Pa. – Salisbury University men's lacrosse seniors Nathan Blondino and Colin Reymann have been named the Capital Athletic Conference Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, the CAC announced Monday.
Blondino went for 15 points last week to bring his season total to 82 in just 14 games. The Leonardtown, Maryland native opened the week with a four-goal, four-assist game against Christopher Newport University, before going for two goals and five assists against Frostburg State University.
Blondino was the CAC Offensive Player of the Week last week as well after posting 19 points. In Blondino's last four games he has 34 points for 8.50 points per game.
Reymann gets his first CAC Defensive Player of the Week honor after he posted 20 saves last week and stopped 62.5 percent of the shots fired his way. Reymann came up big in the first half of the Christopher Newport game as he had 10 stops while allowing just one goal. Reymann's 5.66 goals against average is tops in the nation this season.
The Sea Gulls return to action on Wednesday, April 11 against York College of Pennsylvania. That game is set for 7 p.m., at Sea Gull Stadium.
