SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team has announced that on Saturday, April 21 it will host its annual Lax 4 Leukemia Youth Day when the Sea Gulls take on Capital Athletic Conference opponent Frostburg State University.
Just like the Sea Gulls did in 2017 the silent auction will return and will begin at 12 p.m., one hour before the game starts. The auction will conclude at the end of the third quarter with the winners being announced during the fourth quarter. All proceeds raised will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The Salisbury men's lacrosse team has also invited youth lacrosse organizations throughout the surrounding area to attend the game. All youth players, who wear their jerseys, will receive free admission into the game. Each youth program attending the game will be recognized over the public address system and can enjoy an autograph session with the players postgame.
The maroon and gold have a set a fundraising goal of $10,000 during the event. Anyone, who would like to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society can send checks -- made out to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Maryland -- to the Salisbury University men's lacrosse office, attention Knute Kraus.

Salisbury returns to action on Wednesday, April 18 when it travels to Marymount (Va.) University for a CAC matchup with the Saints at 4 p.m.
