Gwin, Pompea, and Snyder selected to play in USILA senior all-star game

BALTIMORE – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association released the rosters for the 2019 USILA Division III Senior All-Star Game and Salisbury University will be represented by three players as Corey Gwin, Zach Pompea, and Tyler Snyder all earned a spot on the South roster.

Gwin finished his senior season with 88 total points, which ranked second on the team, scoring 63 goals and dishing out 25 assists. Pompea completed his final campaign in the maroon and gold with 80 points as he netted 41 goals and dished out 39 assists.

Snyder rounded out the group of honorees as he turned in a 68-point season, firing home 43 goals and distributing 25 assists.

The South Team will be coached by St. Mary's College of Maryland Head Coach Jason Childs. Childs is coming off a double-digit win season with the Seahawks, their first since 2013.

The game will be played at the United State Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 24 and admission will be free.
