Sea Gulls ranked 19th in d3soccer.com poll

MINNEAPOLIS - The Salisbury University men's soccer team debuted at No. 19 in the latest national poll, released by d3soccer.com on Tuesday.

The Sea Gulls have started the 2012 season with a 5-1, record and the defense has only allowed two goals in the first 450 minutes of play.

The top-five teams in the poll consist of No. 1 Trinity (Texas) College, No. 2 St. Lawrence University, No. 3 Loras College, No. 4 Amherst College and No. 5 Messiah College.

Salisbury opens Capital Athletic Conference play Saturday at Frostburg State University. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m.
