Salisbury ranked No. 23 in latest D3soccer.com poll

MINNEAPOLIS – The Salisbury University men's soccer team is ranked No. 23 in the latest D3soccer.com poll, the website announced on Tuesday.

The Sea Gulls (7-2-1) received 119 points in the poll.

Salisbury is coming off of a week where the Gulls dropped a close double-overtime match to No. 12 York (Pa.) College on Saturday, 2-1.

There was not much movement atop the poll as the top-four teams remained the same. No. 1 Trinity (Texas) College, No. 2 Messiah College, No. 3 Amherst College and No. 4 St. Lawrence University all stayed put, while No. 5 Carnegie Mellon University moved up from No. 6 to join the top five.

Salisbury will be in action against on the road against Johns Hopkins University on Wednesday. The match is set for 7 p.m.
