CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference announced its weekly awards on Tuesday and Salisbury University's Adrian Tombini was named the ECAC South Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
The Olney, Md., native, who was named the Capital Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week as well, notched a goal in each of Salisbury's matches during the past week. He scored the Sea Gulls' second goal in a 4-0 win against Wesley College last Wednesday and tallied the game winner early in the second half of a 2-1 win against St. Mary's (Md.) College on Saturday.
With the two CAC wins, Salisbury is the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament, and will host a semifinal match on Wednesday, Oct. 31. The Sea Gulls close out their regular-season at Catholic University of America on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
