DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference announced the players of the week for the week ending October 29, and Salisbury University junior goalkeeper Trevor Brookhart was named the South Region Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row.

In Salisbury's final regular season match on Wednesday, October 25, Brookhart made two saves in a 6-1 win over Wesley College, helping the Sea Gulls clinch a Capital Athletic Conference playoff spot.

Brookhart made 10 saves in Salisbury's first round Capital Athletic Conference playoff match on Saturday, October 28 against York College of Pennsylvania. After allowing just one goal in 110 minutes of action, Brookhart helped send the game to a penalty kick shootout. In penalty kicks, Brookhart made a diving save on York's first attempt to put the Sea Gulls up in the early rounds. After reaching the 10th round of penalty kicks, Brookhart connected on his own penalty kick and saved the following York attempt, advancing the maroon and gold to the semifinals.
