The Salisbury University men’s soccer team moved to 2-1 on the season with a 3-0 victory over Neumann University Tuesday night at Sea Gull Soccer Stadium. Kevin Eriksen got the Sea Gulls on the board in the 19th minute as he finished a pass from Robbie Budd as it found its way across the mouth of the goal. Eriksen added his second of the game in the second half, ripping a shot from deep to give Salisbury a 2-0 lead. Peter Gutoskey capped the scoring in the 74th minute, curling his shot just out of the reach of the Knight’s goalkeeper. The defensive unit posted its second straight shutout, allowing just six shots in the game and three on goal. Salisbury travels to St. Mary’s City, Maryland this weekend for the Seahawk Classic, where it will take on Bridgewater College on Saturday, September 8 at 4 p.m.
