YORK, Pa. - The Capital Athletic Conference coaches' preseason men's swimming poll was released Friday afternoon. The Salisbury University men were selected to finish third out of six teams.
The University of Mary Washington repeated again as the top honoree, once again picking up 25 points and earning five of the six first-place votes. The Eagles have won the last 16 conference championships. In second place, picking up the remaining first-place nomination was York College of Pennsylvania with 20 points. St. Mary's College of Maryland and Marymount (Va.) University will share the spoils as both tied for fourth place with 11 points each, while Frostburg State University rounds out the group in sixth place with six points.

Both the men's and women's swimming teams continue their season on Saturday, October 29 as they travel to York. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
