Men's tennis earns 9-0 win at Frostburg

FROSTBURG, Md. – The Salisbury University men's tennis team remained perfect in Capital Athletic Conference play, picking up a 9-0 win at Frostburg State University on Sunday morning.

The Sea Gulls started with a sweep of the doubles contests, getting an 8-0 win at No. 2 from junior Matthew Ryan and freshman Ryan Santmyer while senior Kelson Weber and freshman Brad Pappalardo earned an 8-1 win at No. 3. Junior Alec Angradi and sophomore Stefan Hein picked up an 8-2 win at No. 1.

Ryan and classmate Patrick MacLean picked up 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles play with MacLean doing so at No. 4 and Ryan at No. 5. Hein at No. 2 and Pappalardo at No. 3 each earned 6-0, 6-1 wins while Santmyer took a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 6 and junior Colt Williamson was able to earn a 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 1.

The Sea Gulls return home on Wednesday, April 10 to host Harford Community College beginning at 4 p.m.
