FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference released weekly track & field honors on Tuesday morning and junior pole vaulter Kyleigh Dumas garnered conference recognition as she was named Field Athlete of the Week.
Dumas turned in an exceptional performance at the 125th Penn Relays as she earned a third-place finish in the pole vault. Dumas cleared the bar at a height of 11' 11.75" to earn the finish, which is the highest individual finish for a Sea Gull at the relays in program history.
Dumas currently ranks 14th in the nation in Division III Women's Track & Field as she heads into the 2019 Capital Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Salisbury returns to action on Friday, May 3 when it travels to Christopher Newport University for the 2019 CAC track & field championships.
