Hackett named CAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for second time this season

YORK, Pa. – Salisbury University sophomore point guard Anna Hackett has been named the CAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

Last week, Hackett averaged 26.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 3.0 assists in two games for SU. The sophomore contributed a career-high 32 points in the Sea Gulls' 61-54 victory over Randolph College, along with a career-best seven steals and 13 field goals made.

This is the second CAC Player of the Week accolade Hackett has garnished this season, the first coming during the week of Dec. 3.

Salisbury will return to the court on Jan. 2 as it continues on the road at the Gettysburg Tournament. The Sea Gulls will take the court against Gwynedd-Mercy College at 8 p.m.
