The Salisbury University women’s basketball team picked up its third straight Capital Athletic Conference victory on Wednesday night, defeating Wesley College 59-40. Junior Kaylyn French led the Sea Gulls in scoring with 12 points, shooting 40 percent from the field on the night. French also collected a team-high seven rebounds to go along with two steals, a block, and an assist. Sophomore Rachel Ryan also scored in double figures with 10 points. Ryan was a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line and added six rebounds. Jessie Iacobellis was an efficient 3-for-5 from the field, including this three-pointer in the second quarter. Iacobellis finished the game with seven points and three rebounds. Salisbury hits the road for two straight games, the first at Penn State University Harrisburg on Saturday, January 20 at 1 p.m.
