King named CAC Offensive Player of the Week

YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference announced its weekly women's lacrosse awards on Monday and Salisbury University junior Dana King was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week.

In two CAC wins last week against Christopher Newport University and Frostburg State University, King tallied 11 points. She scored two goals and added three assists against the Captains and followed up with two goals and four assists in the win against the Bobcats.

This season, King ranks sixth in the CAC, scoring 48 points, and her 20 assists are fifth in the conference.

King and the Sea Gulls travel to No. 7 York College of Pennsylvania on Wednesday, April 12 at 4 p.m. With a win, Salisbury would secure the top seed in the upcoming CAC tournament.
