VIDEO: Women's Lacrosse vs. Rowan
The Salisbury University women’s lacrosse team hosted Rowan University on Tuesday afternoon, defeating the Profs 13-10 in non-conference action. Dana King scored six goals for the second straight game to lead Salisbury to a 4-0 start to the season. King scored five unassisted goals and one free position goal, including three straight in the second half to give Salisbury a 10-7 lead. Gabby Mongno tallied three goals for the Sea Gulls, including this final marker of the game. Krissy Murphy notched two goals and an assist in the win, bringing her totals to seven goals and a team-high seven assists on the season. Gianna Falcone made six saves on 11 shots on goal in the first half to pick up the win. With the win, Falcone moves into third place in program history with 46 wins. Falcone’s six saves put her in sixth place in program history with 330 saves. Salisbury hits the road for its next contest against Eastern Shore rival Washington College on Saturday, March 10 at 1 p.m.
