YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference coaches' preseason women's swimming poll was released Thursday afternoon. The Salisbury University women were selected to finish third out of six teams.
The University of Mary Washington repeated again as the top team, once again getting 25 points and earning five of the six first-place votes. The Eagles have won the last 26 conference championships. In second place, picking up the remaining first-place nomination was York College of Pennsylvania with 20 points. St. Mary's College of Maryland slides into fourth place with 12 points, Marymount (Va.) University was chosen fifth with 11 points, while Frostburg State University rounds out the group in sixth place with six points.

Both the men's and women's swimming teams continue their season on Saturday, October 29 as they travel to York. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
