FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference announced its weekly tennis awards on Tuesday and Salisbury University junior Annika Kezman has been named the Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Kezman earned both a singles and doubles victory in Salisbury's 8-1 win against Catholic University of America on Friday, March 1. Kezman was victorious at No. 1 singles, winning 6-0, 6-1 while also taking an 8-4 victory at No. 1 doubles with partner Sydney Soto.
Kezman is perfect in three No. 1 singles matches this season as the team is undefeated through three contests.
Salisbury will be on the road this weekend, traveling to The College of New Jersey on Saturday, March 9.
