Sea Gulls soar to three-set win at Mary Washington
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The No. 20 Salisbury University volleyball team continued its run against Capital Athletic Conference opponents, winning 15-straight matches against CAC foes, following a 3-0 win against the University of Mary Washington on Wednesday night.
Salisbury (19-1, 3-0 CAC) cruised to the win, the team's 13th of the season in just three sets, with scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-17.
The Sea Gulls took the early lead in the first set and never looked back. The Eagles' best chance to grab a set came in the second, as Mary Washington opened up on a 7-1 run. But the Gulls would not be outdone, chipping away at the lead and claiming the win in the second set.
