WASHINGTON, D.C – The Salisbury University women's swim team's season-opening seven-game win streak unfortunately came to an end on Saturday with the Sea Gulls dropping a 166.5-95.5 decision to the Catholic Cardinals.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
 

• The Sea Gulls touched the wall first in four individual events.
• Samantha Watson led the way with two first-place finishes. Watson finished first in the 100 breast (1:12.39) and the 200 breast (2:37.09).
• Alexa Hilty finished first in the 200-yard free with a time of 2:02.11. Hilty also finished second in the 500 free (5:32.83) and third in the 50-yard free (25.94).
• Morgan Adams added in a first-place finish  in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:20.57.
• Eight other racers earned top-three finishes.

 
UP NEXT

• The Sea Gulls will host the St. Mary's Seahawks on Saturday, Jan 28 for the final dual-meet of the season
• The meet is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. with senior day festivities before the meet.
