Women's Tennis picks up 7-2 win over Harford

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University women's tennis cruised to a 7-2 win over the Harford Community College Fighting Owls on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Hannah Carter and Evelyn Whiteside blanked Kaja Szuba and Lily Tsomos in third doubles, 8-0.
  • Katherine Tamesis and Olivia Hall earned an 8-6 victory Anna Holway and Lily Holtschneider in first singles.
  • Elizabeth Christine rolled to a 6-3, 6-3 win in second singles over Holway.
  • Hall notched a 6-2, 6-1 win in third singles over Holtschneider.
  • Sarah Cooper picked up a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Caroline Novak in fourth singles.
  • Carter continued her shutout from doubles to her fifth singles match with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Tsomos.
  • Leah Osmon closed out the win with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Maria Webb.

  • Salisbury continues at home on Friday, April 21 against the New Jersey City Gothic Knights.
  • The match is scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start at the SU Tennis Center.
