The Salisbury University women's soccer team takes flight to the Golden State for the 2024 Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) Women's Soccer Championship, hosted by UC Santa Cruz at Lower East Field in Santa Cruz, Calif. The team commences its tournament run on Friday, Nov. 8th with a rematch against the top-seeded and third-ranked Captains of Christopher Newport at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.

The Sea Gulls played an even final month of the regular season, going 2-2-2 over the final six matches to finish the campaign with a 5-5-7 overall record.
Sophomore midfielder/forward Ava Wheeler led the team in goals (5) and points (12) in the regular season.
Not far behind was junior forward Ashley Pantano, who netted four goals and a pair of helpers including a pair of game-winners.
Sophomore forward Jordan Edwards was a key threat off the Sea Gull bench. She tallied three goals in 2024, two being game-winners while putting seven of her 16 shots on target.
Senior midfielder Kristen Ging helped create opportunities for her teammates all season. The 2023 first-teamer tallied a career-high four assists in 2024, bringing her career point total to 21.
Salisbury is led by a talented group of five seniors who all get significant run for the Sea Gulls. The combination of Ging, Tori Pietuszka, Katy Poltrack, Zakiyahh McMillan, and Autumn Conway totaled over 6,100 minutes this season.
Along with Wheeler's success, fellow sophomore Rebecca Fairbanks has been a key presence in the Sea Gull backline this season. The Columbia, Md. native leads the squad with 1,471 minutes played while adding one goal and one assist in 2024.
The Sea Gulls fell to third-ranked Christopher Newport in the final game of the regular season, 4-1.
Alex Jankowski netted her first goal of the season, assisted by Rebecca Fairbanks, in the 27th minute.
Despite the loss, sophomore net-minder Hayle Foreman was stellar in goal. The Wernersville, Pa. native tallied a career-high 12 saves across the full 90 minutes, the most for any Sea Gull keeper since Regan Benton '21 piled up 13 saves against the Captains on Oct. 17, 2018.
UC Santa Cruz hosts the C2C Women's Soccer Championship for the first time in 2024.
The Sea Gulls are pursuing their fifth conference championship and the first since 2011.

We are excited about the opportunity that Salisbury University is affording the women's soccer program to travel to Santa Cruz for the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference playoffs. We are looking forward to competing against the best of the C2C.
