The game is set for a 4:30 p.m. start inside Sea Gull Stadium, with another quarterfinal matchup between No. 8 Tufts and St. John Fisher at 7:30 p.m. The winners advance to the national semifinal set to start at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 19 inside Sea Gull Stadium. How We Got Here Top-ranked Salisbury completed the 15th undefeated regular season in program history in 2024, finishing unscathed in an uninterrupted campaign for the first time since 2016 with a 17-0 record including a 5-0 mark in CLC play. During the season, the Sea Gulls defeated four ranked teams, including a 14-8 triumph over then-No. 6 Gettysburg to avenge the lone loss from 2023's title run. Salisbury finished the season 9-0 at home, 7-0 on the road, and 1-0 in neutral-site games. The Sea Gulls have won 57 straight games at Sea Gull Stadium, boasting an overall win streak of 41 games dating back to Feb. 25, 2023. Been There, Done That After winning the second-ever CLC Championship over seventh-ranked and second-seeded Christopher Newport, 14-7, Salisbury notched triumphs over Saint Joseph (Conn.), 27-8, and No. 9 Swarthmore, 18-7, to reach the national quarterfinal for the 33rd consecutive NCAA Tournament. Brown also moved into second all-time in career points in the win over Swarthmore, surpassing his former teammate and current PLL pro, Cross Ferrara. Brown is in the midst of his best collegiate season, racking up 120 points on 40 goals and 80 assist this season. He ranks second in Division III averaging 3.81 helpers per game while slotting 13th in points per contest (5.71).Riley Strub - Strub's move from the second midfield line to attack paid dividends in 2024. The sophomore recorded 53 points on 41 goals and 12 helpers in 14 games on the starting attack.Ty Keaton - Keaton has been excellent since joining the fray as a regular starter on attack in late March, sharing fourth on the team with 41 goals while adding 11 assists. Keaton has been the most efficient Sea Gull shooter, ranking 63rd in Division III connecting on 42.7 percent of his looks.Chris Wong - Wong, a transfer from Johns Hopkins, joined the starting attack in mid-April and has caught fire since, tallying 20 goals and two assists across his seven starts including hat-tricks in each of SU's tournament contests. Brice Bromwell - Bromwell had already reached career-highs in assists (28) and points (69) through the end of the regular season, ranking seventh in the CLC in assists per game (1.53) and eighth in points per outing (3.95). The Woolford, Md. native has been excellent in May, tallying 12 goals and three helpers across four games.Luke Nestor - The Bennett High School product has reached new heights in 2024, recording a team-high 56 goals and tacking on 14 assists through 21 games this season. His 2.67 goals per game clip lands just outside the top-100 individually across Division III.Jack Dowd - The 6'5" graduate midfielder has logged 75 points on 44 goals and 31 assists, finishing the regular season by tying his career-high with five assists against Cabrini. Dowd has served as SU's top man-up threat, logging eight man-up goals to rank 45th nationally.Charlie White - A fixture in Salisbury's second midfield line, White tied his career mark from 2022 in five fewer games, firing 17 goals while appearing in all 17 regular season games. He has scored in every postseason contest, including goals in each NCAA Tournament win.Blake Malamphy - Malamphy improved upon an already impressive freshman season a year ago, headlining the conference and standing 17th in D-III with a faceoff win percentage of 66.1 percent (232-351) and a career-high 137 ground balls before postseason play, surpassing the figure he reached in 23 appearances last season by one. He was sharp in the conference bracket, taking 65.1 percent of his tries while adding 24 ground balls and his sixth goal of the campaign. John DeFazio - DeFazio has pushed the boundary once again in 2024, earning a place on the Tewaaraton Watch List earlier this season while chasing down 83 ground balls and disrupting 48 possessions prior to the NCAA Tournament. DeFazio ranks 34th nationally averaging 2.43 forced errors per game and topped 300 career ground balls in the campaign. The senior dominated the Third Round against No. 9 Swarthmore, scooping eight ground balls and causing three turnovers while adding his sixth helper of the year.Bryce Stevenson - Stevenson has taken major strides in his first season as a starting defenseman, scooping 43 ground balls and causing 32 turnovers to aid the fourth-ranked scoring defense across Division III (7.33).Reagan McNemar - The Towson transfer has helped stifle opposing offenses, picking up 46 ground balls and forcing 19 turnovers so far this season.Jeremiah Stafford - Stafford claimed the starting LSM spot and has thrived, ranking second on the team with 34 caused turnovers while picking up 36 ground balls.Braden Glushakow - The 2022-23 SU Scholar-Athlete of the Year continues to lock down opposing attackmen at SSDM, posting 26 ground balls and six caused turnovers while scoring his ninth and 10th career goals in 2024.Nicholas Ransom - Ransom finished the 2024 season with a perfect 17-0 record in the cage, improving his career tally to 41-0 after four strong postseason showings.
