What would you say your hometown is known for?
Probably the beaches and lobster, mostly. Higgins Beach is my favorite beach to visit – the views are pretty and the rocks are great to climb on.
What's your favorite hometown hangout spot?
I would say
the Dairy Corner, it's an ice cream place in town. My friends and I love getting ice cream, and we go basically every night.
Which local sports teams do you root for?
I root for the Portland Hearts of Pine, it's a minor league soccer club.
How did you hear about Salisbury University?
I went to an ID camp in Virginia and met [Coach Lloyd] there, and that's how I first heard about Salisbury and got interested in attending.
What's the biggest difference between life in your hometown and life here in Salisbury?
I would say just the amount of resources nearby. In my hometown, we don't have many restaurants or places of our own – you mostly have to go out of our town just to get to places like a grocery store.
What's something you can turn to that reminds you of your hometown on the days when you miss it?
I'll listen to music that reminds me of my home – Bob Marley is a favorite – and look at photos.
How would you sell someone on visiting your hometown?
I would say that it has beautiful views and beautiful sights, and the food is excellent.
