Women’s Basketball unveils 2025-26 slate

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University women's basketball team pulled back the curtain on its 2025-26 schedule on Tuesday. The Sea Gulls are ready for year three in the Aprile Preller-Guy era with a full 25-game slate, including nine home games. 

Salisbury opens the season at home inside Maggs Gymnasium on Saturday, Nov. 8th, when they battle Washington College (Md.) for a 1 p.m. tip-off. The Sea Gulls then travel to York, Pa., for the York College Invitational starting Friday, November 14th. That Friday, they will take on York (Pa.) at 5 p.m.

Salisbury then returns home on Wednesday, Nov. 19th, to take on Penn State Harrisburg at 6 p.m. The weekend before Thanksgiving, the Governor's Challenge Tournament entered into the collegiate realm. The Wicomico County Civic Center will play host to multiple games throughout the weekend, with the Sea Gull men & women participating. The women will take on Lehman College on Saturday, Nov. 22nd, at 1 p.m. before playing another game on Sunday, with time TBD.

After the Governor's Challenge Tournament, the Sea Gulls return home for back-to-back games. The first game will be against Gallaudet University on Saturday, Nov. 29th, at 2 p.m. The Sea Gulls then start December with a matchup against Stevenson inside Maggs on Wednesday, the 3rd at 5:30 p.m. for Greek Night. 

After back-to-back road contests, SU welcomes Shenandoah into Maggs for Camper Appreciation Day on December 20th at 2 p.m. The program will travel to Puerto Rico before the new year to battle King's College (Pa.) and Western Connecticut State on December 28th and 29th. After the new year, they will host Youth Day against Gwynedd Mercy University on January 3rd at 2 p.m. before going on the road for four games. 

The final three home games of the season for the Gulls will be against Mary Washington on January 24th at 2 p.m. for Alumni Day. CNU on Wednesday, February 11th, at 5:30 for their annual Play4Kay game. And finally, Senior Day on Saturday, February 21st, at 2 p.m. against Regent to wrap up the season. 

Salisbury is set to host the Coast-to-Coast Conference Tournament starting Thursday, February 26th and running through Saturday, February 28th.
