The Rundown

The top-seeded and seventh-ranked Salisbury University women's lacrosse team begins the hunt for its fifth consecutive and 23rd overall conference title on Wednesday, hosting the fourth-seeded Owls of Warren Wilson College in the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) semifinal on Wednesday, April 30th at 1 p.m. inside Sea Gull Stadium. A win would secure hosting rights for the Sea Gulls in Saturday's title game against the winner of Wednesday's second semifinal between second-seeded Christopher Newport and third-seeded Mary Washington.

How We Got Here

The Sea Gulls completed the 2025 campaign with a 12-4 overall record, taking care of business against C2C foes CNU and UMW to lock down the league's top seed. During the season, the Sea Gulls defeated three top 15 teams in fifth-ranked William Smith, ninth-ranked York (Pa.) and 12th-ranked TCNJ. SU boasts an 8-1 record at Sea Gull Stadium and have won 64 consecutive games against conference opponents, with the team's last league loss coming to then-Capital Athletic Conference foe York (Pa.) on April 12, 2017.

  • Audrey Harrington - The Ellicott City, Md. native has blossomed into a star in her third season, piling up a team-high 60 points on 26 goals and 34 assists while adding 14 ground balls, boasting career-bests in every category.
  • Miranda Mears - One of the pillar's of SU's attack had her best season yet as a Sea Gull in 2025, finishing the regular season with 38 goals to finish just four goals shy of her career-best total in 2024 in six fewer games. The Parkside High School product boasts career-bests in shot percentage (52.8), shot on goal percentage (79.2) and game-winning goals (3) through 16 games this season.
  • Alexandra Parker  - A product of St. Mary's Annapolis, Parker touts a career-best 35 points heading into the postseason on 11 goals and 24 assists, more than doubling her prior career-high in helpers (10). 
  • Avery Dunbar - Dunbar has blossomed into an important player for the Sea Gulls down the stretch, posting 12 of her 17 points in the month of April. The Medford, N.J. native netted a career-high four points against Christopher Newport on April 19th, highlighted by the eventual game-winner with less than five minutes to go in SU's comeback effort.
  • Julianna Ott - The Woodbine, Md. native has lapped her production as a sophomore in '25, tallying 34 goals and three assists while securing a team and career-high 66 draw controls across 16 games. Her clip of 4.13 draw controls per game ranks third in the C2C.
  • Grace Doyle - Doyle matched Audrey Harrington's 26 goals while ranking fourth in draw controls (24) and caused turnovers (13) in her junior campaign. The York, Pa. native enters the postseason on a six-game scoring streak headlined by a career-high four goals against TCNJ on April 12th.
  • Regan McDonnell - McDonnell has done it all for Salisbury this season, posting 23 points with 19 goals and four helpers while causing the second-most turnovers on the team (22), slotting third on the squad in draw controls (29), and holding fourth in ground balls (24). The Severna Park product posted her second hat-trick with three caused turnovers and a pair of DC's against the Eagles on April 26th.
  • Carly Hoffman - Hoffman has been a key presence on both sides for the Sea Gulls, chipping in 14 goals and three assists while digging out 11 ground balls and causing 11 turnovers. The product of Worcester Prep has four multi-goal performances this season.
  • Abby Fleishell - The Sykesville, Md. native turned an impressive sophomore season into a stellar junior campaign, leading her team and ranking fourth in the C2C averaging 1.94 caused turnovers per game. She has totaled 37 ground balls and caused 31 turnovers while trailing only Julianna Ott with 50 draw controls across her 16 starts.
  • Reagan Davis - 2025 has been kind to the Finksburg native, who has tallied career marks in ground balls (29) and caused turnovers (21) as a key member of the Sea Gull defense. She also logged her first career assist with a find of Julianna Ott against Neumann on April 2nd.
  • Natalie Held - The reigning IWLCA DIII Defender of the Year has been stellar since her return to the Sea Gull lineup, totaling 12 ground balls, eight caused turnovers and seven draw controls across five games in 2025.
  • Paige Ellis - SU's junior net-watcher has impressed in her first season as a full-time starter in goal, joining forces with her back line to tout an 8.53 GAA that ranks 34th in Division III and leads the C2C. Ellis has tallied an 11-4 record in goal, making 101 saves at a 45.1 percent clip.

  • Offensive Player to Watch - #15 Maelyn Eversole: Eversole has tallied a team-high 43 points in 2025, firing in 24 goals to rank fourth on the team while sitting first on the squad with 19 assists.
  • Defensive Player to Watch - #1 Brookelyn Morrison: While the junior standout saw her offensive production (23-13-36) drop from 2024, Morrison continued to star on the defensive end for CNU. Her 92 draw controls represented a career-high while she also caused 36 turnovers and added 36 ground balls.
  • Goalkeeper - #34 Hadley Chadwick: The junior net-minder has continued to provide consistency between the pipes with a 9.67 GAA and 128 saves in 2025.

  • Signature Wins: No. 12 Roanoke (10-7), No. 18 Denison (13-11)
  • Offensive Player to Watch - #25 Molly Daw: Daw leads her team in goals (41), assists (19), shots (100), and shots on goal (69) in 2025. SU held Daw without a point on April 26th.
  • Defensive Player to Watch - #19 Tori Mueller: Mueller ranks second on the squad with 50 points across her 17 starts while causing a team-high 35 turnovers and adding 30 grounders. Mueller tied her season-high with six points on four goals and two assists against SU in the regular season finale.
  • Goalkeepers - #3 Allison Carolan & #2 Cece Van Blenis: Carolan touts a 4-6 record through a team-high 603:05 in goal including 12 starts, making 77 saves with a 9.45 GAA. Van Blenis holds a perfect 6-0 record this season, making 34 saves with a 9.88 GAA across 346:15 including five starts.
  • 5-7 record in 2025
  • Player to Watch - #10 Sydney Weber: Weber leads the C2C with 74 goals and 80 points while piling up 111 shots in 12 games for the Owls. 
  • Goalkeeper - #32 Apollo Grieves: Grieves holds a 17.02 GAA across 12 starts in her freshman campaign, tallying 101 saves.
