2025-26 Women's Golf Season Preview

2024-25 REWIND: NEW GULLS ON THE BLOCK

Salisbury fielded a separate women's golf program for the first time in school history in 2024-25. The Sea Gulls competed in seven tournaments over the fall and spring, recording a team-best total of 419 at Pine Ridge Golf Club (Goucher/Stevenson) on Apr. 18 that marked a 61-stroke improvement from the beginning of the season.

Cailin McCoy and Emma Wivell played in all 11 rounds on the campaign for SU, while Isabella Casey completed the season to become the program's first senior graduate.

THE 2025-26 SEA GULLS

Returning to the flock are five Sea Gull golfers, including two who played all 11 rounds of the 2024-25 season. They are joined by five freshmen from three different states, including from as far away as North Carolina.

Salisbury has become a founding member of the new Colonial Women's Golf Conference (CWGC), joining Babson, Carlow, Christopher Newport, Johnson & Wales-Charlotte, Kean, Penn State Altoona, and Stockton. The CWGC will hold its inaugural championship tournament on Oct. 26-28 at Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford, Pa.

We've got a full roster this year at 10 ladies. We're able to really compete amongst ourselves this year, which is something awesome that we didn't quite have last year, and we're really excited about that. The young ladies that we're bringing in, along with our returners, are helping us push the talent and competition levels of the entire program.
