Men's Lacrosse – 2nd | USILA Division III Top 20, Preseason
Salisbury hit the ground running at No. 2 in the sport's coaches' poll with 461 points, trailing only Tufts (520) and slotting ahead of Christopher Newport (451), RIT (416), and Bowdoin (416) in the top five.
The Sea Gulls opened the 2026 season with a 19-6 romp at Eastern on Monday afternoon.
Riley Strub led the attack with three goals and three assists for six points, while
Chris Wong,
Trent Lucovich, and
Michael Leahy each netted a hat trick.
SU will play its second of three straight away from home to start the year on Saturday, meeting up with Grove City in an afternoon neutral matchup across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
Men's Swimming – 10th | Swimcloud Division III Championship Meet Rankings
Salisbury remains a top-10 team in both the championship (645.98) and dual-meet (681.60) metrics, sitting just behind Johns Hopkins for ninth in both tallies.
The Sea Gulls wrapped the regular season with a convincing 187-74 victory at Washington College on Friday, finishing dual meet season with a 6-2 record.
Everett Rachael captured New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Swimmer of the Week honors off a performance that saw SU set four pool records in Chestertown.
SU now moves its focus to capturing a first-ever conference title at the 2026 NJAC Swimming & Diving Championships, set to be held in Hampton, Va. on Feb. 12-15.
Women's Swimming – 13th | Swimcloud Division III Championship Meet Rankings
Salisbury registered 597.28 points in the championship metric, taking the space between No. 12 Chicago (608.69) and No. 14 Johns Hopkins (596.87). In the dual metric, SU sits 18th (631.40).
The Sea Gulls knocked off Washington College 190.5-68.5 on Friday, finishing the regular season with a 6-2 dual-meet record.
Libby Miyashita earned NJAC Rookie of the Week laurels, helping SU set five Chestertown pool records.
SU will seek to defend its league crown at the 2026 NJAC Swimming & Diving Championships on Feb. 12-15 in Hampton, Va.
Softball – 18th | NFCA/GoRout Division III Top 25, Preseason
Salisbury secured 80 points in the season-opening slate, landing between No. 17 UW-Oshkosh (90) and No. 19 St. Thomas (Texas) [70].
The Sea Gulls are coming off a 36-8-1 record and a fourth consecutive NCAA regional title in 2025. SU opens the 2026 regular season on Saturday, Feb. 28, hosting a tri-match against No. 25 Swarthmore and TCNJ that begins at 10:30 a.m. inside Margie Knight Stadium.
Men's Tennis – 38th | ITA Division III National Rankings, Preseason
Salisbury is one of three Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C) teams ranked in the preseason top 40, with Mary Washington and Christopher Newport coming in at 23rd and 24th, respectively.
The Sea Gulls are riding the momentum of a 2025 season that saw them go 13-6 and reach the C2C Tournament semifinals. SU opens the 2026 spring slate on Sunday, Feb. 15, with a home matchup against Goucher at 3 p.m.
