SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury University cross country programs opened the 2026 season by hosting the 30th annual Salisbury University Fall Classic where they competed against multiple elite level Division I programs. The United States Navel Academy and George Mason University along with the University of Maryland Eastern Shore were in attendance. The day was highlighted by a school record from
Anna Bodmer.
Both the Sea Gull women and men placed third overall as a team in the meet both behind Division I programs in Navy and George Mason. On the women's side, Navy placed first with 21 points, George Mason tallied second with 47 points, and Salisbury placed third 67 points ahead of Regent, District of Columbia, and UMES. The men tallied third with 82 points ahead of Regent, with GMU earning first with 19 points and Navy placing second with 36 points.
Women Meet Notes
- Bodmer
led the way for SU placing 3rd overall with her school record time of 21:17.5. Bodmer finished behind two Division I runners from Navy.
- Freshman
Brynn Crandell made her Sea Gull debut in style placing 12th with a time of 22:11.7, also finishing behind all Division I runners.
- Fellow Freshman
Callie Webb tallied 15th place with a time of 22:24.1 in her SU debut.

Camryn Russum earned placed 23rd with a time of 23:10.9.

Olivia Baker earned points in her SU debut in 28th place with a time of 23:28.2.

Miranda Bournique earned 30th with a time of 24:03.6.

Abigail Stott rounded out the SU points scorers in her debut with a time of 24:06.4 in 31st.
Men Meet Notes

Gabe Riling earned a top 15 finish in 13th to lead the Sea Gulls with a time of 25:59.1.

Seth Barron tallied 21st with a time of 26:34.0.

Cormac Moroney posted a 24th place finish with a time of 27:02.3.

Ryan Moody earned 25th in his Sea Gull debut, earning points with a time of 27:10.9.
- With three finishers in a row,
Bradley Helman placed 26th with a time of 27:14.7.

Peyton Dill kept the trend going placing 28th and 29th to round out the point scorers for SU. Friscia earned 28th with a time of 27:27.5, while Dill earned 29th at 27:42.8.
The Sea Gulls are back in action at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational in North Dartmouth, Ma. on September 19th at 9:30 a.m.
