Last season, Salisbury posted a 10-2 record and an appearance in the NCAA Third Round of the Division III playoffs. For the second straight season, Salisbury earned a First Round bye and hosted a NCAA Second Round game in which they beat No. 15 Endicott College 35-28. This year, SU has been tabbed the No. 17 team in the country to start the season. The Sea Gulls will open the 2026 campaign at home for the first time since 2024, welcoming McDaniel College to Sea Gull Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 12, for the annual Gold Rush game. Salisbury remains home the following two weeks, hosting Washington and Lee on Sept. 19 before taking on Catholic University for Youth Day on Sept. 26. The Washington and Lee weekend will play host to the The Joe Rotellini Era Reunion while the Catholic weekend will be the 40th Anniversary of the 1986 Football Team. The Sea Gulls saw two players earn All-American honors and All-Region honors as well as 17 All-NJAC honorees.
