Matt Padeway is in his second season as a volunteer assistant coach for Sea Gull Baseball. A catcher in his playing days, he works primarily with Salisbury’s backstops. In the summer of 2022 Padeway served as hitting/position coach for the Keene Swamp Bats in the New England Collegiate Baseball League.
Padeway played five seasons for Salisbury from 2017-21, earning First-Team All-Capital Athletic Conference honors in 2018 and helping the Sea Gulls win their first national championship in 2021. He ranks top-10 in program history in sacrifice bunts (21), defensive chances (810) and defensive putouts (711).
