MINNEAPOLIS – After climbing its way through the ranks of "others receiving votes" in recent weeks, the Salisbury University football team cracked into the top 25 of the latest poll, released by D3football.com on Sunday night.
The Sea Gulls received 39 points in the poll this week to sit at No. 25 following a 42-0 win against Southern Virginia University on Saturday afternoon at Sea Gull Stadium. The point total leaves the Sea Gulls 26 points behind No. 24 Johns Hopkins University.
Salisbury has won six-straight games, all in New Jersey Athletic Conference play, as the Sea Gulls are tied atop the NJAC standings. Two other NJAC schools are also represented in the top 25 with Wesley College at No. 14 and Frostburg State University at No. 15.
The Sea Gulls will host Rowan University this Saturday, October 28 at Sea Gull Stadium, beginning at 1 p.m.
