MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Salisbury University senior defensive back Jamarkus Brumskin and freshman punter Michael Gillespie earned spots on the Team of the Week on Tuesday.

Gillespie, who received New Jersey Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors on Sunday, averaged 43.5 yards per punt on eight attempts in Salisbury's 24-19 win over UW-Oshkosh. Gillespie's best punt of the day came at a pivotal time for Salisbury. With the Sea Gulls backed up at their own 9-yard line late in the fourth, Gillespie boomed a career-long 72-yard punt that flipped the field and forced Oshkosh to start their drive at their own 19-yard line.

Brumskin, a transfer from Geneva College, was the special team representative on the Team of the Week after blocking a first-quarter, 25-yard field goal attempt from UW-Oshkosh's Peyton Peterson to keep the game scoreless. Salisbury went on to score the first 24 points of the game and hung on to win, 24-19.
