Gillespie, who received New Jersey Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors on Sunday, averaged 43.5 yards per punt on eight attempts in Salisbury's 24-19 win over UW-Oshkosh. Gillespie's best punt of the day came at a pivotal time for Salisbury. With the Sea Gulls backed up at their own 9-yard line late in the fourth, Gillespie boomed a career-long 72-yard punt that flipped the field and forced Oshkosh to start their drive at their own 19-yard line.
Brumskin, a transfer from Geneva College, was the special team representative on the D3football.com Team of the Week after blocking a first-quarter, 25-yard field goal attempt from UW-Oshkosh's Peyton Peterson to keep the game scoreless. Salisbury went on to score the first 24 points of the game and hung on to win, 24-19.
