PITMAN, N.J. – Salisbury University junior quarterback Jack Lanham was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Offensive Player of the Week, for his performance in Saturday's 45-38 win over No. 8/12 Wesley in the Route 13 Rivalry.
Lanham finished with a game-high 139 rushing yards on 17 carries with a touchdown. He also passed for 89 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown strike in a contest which the No. 14/15 Sea Gulls gained 506 yards of total offense.
Lanham ranks second in the NJAC in pass efficiency (144.7), seventh in rushing yards per game (57.2) and total offense per game (126.2).
It is Salisbury's third NJAC weekly honor of the year after Sean Carroll earned NJAC Defensive Player of the Week accolades on Sept. 8 and Michael Gillespie received NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week laurels back on Sept. 15.
