SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University football team remained at the 10th spot in both the D3football and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top 25 polls.
Salisbury holds an overall record of 6-0 and 4-0 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC). Salisbury is one of 16 teams that are unbeaten in Division III.
Salisbury received 817 points in the poll in the AFCA Coaches' Poll and collected 385 points in the D3football.com Top 25.
In the D3football.com Top 25, Mount Union overtook Mary-Hardin Baylor for top billing in the poll while Mary-Hardin Baylor sits atop of the AFCA Coaches Poll. UW-Whitewater, St. John's and Wheaton (Ill.) round the top-five of both polls.
Salisbury and Wesley are the lone NJAC teams in the Top 25 polls with the Wolverines slotted in 14th in both polls. Wisconsin-Oshkosh sits just outside the Top 25 in the AFCA poll after dropping a 31-3 game to UW-La Crosse last week.
The first regional ranking of the 2019 season, which determines seeding in the NCAA Tournament, will be released next week.
The Sea Gulls will welcome the CNU Captains on Saturday, Nov. 2 for their final regular season home game. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Sea Gull Stadium. Prior to the game, Salisbury will honor its graduating seniors.
