PITMAN, N.J. – Salisbury University sophomore quarterback Jack Lanham collected New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in No. 10 Salisbury's 51-0 win on Saturday over the CNU Captains.
Lanham accounted for 334 total yards of offense in the win, including 139 rushing yards on just 14 carries with a pair of rushing touchdowns. He also completed 8-of-13 passes for 195 yards and a passing touchdown to keep Salisbury as the NJAC's lone unbeaten team.
In the league, Lanham leads the NJAC in passing efficiency (180.9). Lanham also third in the conference in rushing with 496 yards with an average of 70.9 yards per game.
It is Lanham's second conference weekly award of the season. He was named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Week back on Oct. 13. It is Salisbury's sixth NJAC Player of the Week of the season and fourth consecutive week with a player recognized by the conference.
