Christian named NJAC Player of the Week

PITMAN, N.J. - Salisbury University junior defensive back Myles Christian was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Defensive Player of the Week following Salisbury's 42-13 win on Saturday over Wiliam Paterson to secure its first undefeated season since 2004.

Christian registered nine tackles, including a season-high eight solo stops along with 2.0 tackles for a loss. He also notched a pass break-up in a defensive performance which saw Salisbury hold the Pioneer offense to just 1.1 yards per carry in the contest.

Christian is the seventh different Sea Gull to win an NJAC weekly honor. It is the sixth consecutive week that Salisbury claimed at least one NJAC Player of the Week.
