YORK, Pa. – Salisbury University senior guard Travon Vann earned CAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second straight week, the league announced on Monday.

Vann led Salisbury (5-1) to a 2-1 week, winning the GU Holiday Tournament with victories over Gallaudet University and Valley Forge Christian College. Vann was named tournament MVP for the second time this season.

He averaged 23.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists while shooting 48.7 percent from the field and 54.5 percent from long range in three games for the Gulls. The Frederick, Md., native was 73 percent from the free-throw line for the week.

Vann's 36 points against Gallaudet on Nov. 23 were the most for a Salisbury player since the 2007 season.

Through six games this season, Vann is averaging 24.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.

Vann shares this week's award with St. Mary's (Md.) College's Jeff Haus.

Salisbury is back in action Dec. 1 at 1 p.m., at Pennsylvania State University-Abington.
