SALISBURY, Md. – Basketball players, in grades 3 through 12, have the opportunity to take part in the 2015 Fall "Get Ready" Basketball Clinic, to be held at Maggs Physical Activities Center on Sunday, October 11.
This clinic will give players a chance to receive quality instruction from the clinic staff led by Salisbury University Men's Basketball Head Coach Andrew Sachs. Sachs was named the head coach of Salisbury this past summer, continuing an illustrious career, that spans 24 years at the Division I, II, III level including coaching 12 conference players of the year and 42 all-conference players.
Along with Sachs, his assistant coaches, Dominic Milburn and Mike Fitzpatrick, as well as members of the Salisbury University team, will lead players in individualized instruction on fundamental techniques including footwork, proper shooting form, and ball handling.
The clinic is offered to two age groups, with each clinic lasting three hours. Those in grades 3 through 6 will participate from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m., while those in grades 7 through 12 will participate from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The cost per child is $40.
