Men's basketball up to No. 12 in poll

MINNEAPOLIS – The Salisbury University men's basketball team climbed three spots in the latest poll which was released on Monday night, moving up to No. 12 in the nation.

The Sea Gulls won three games in the past week, including two Capital Athletic Conference victories, to earn 337 points, just 40 points behind No. 11 Susquehanna University and 61 points outside the top 10.

Salisbury (11-2, 6-0 CAC) is joined in the top 25 by fellow CAC member Christopher Newport University, which climbed two spots to No. 4 this week with 533 points.

The Sea Gulls take on Marymount (Va.) University on Wednesday, January 11, at Maggs Physical Activities Center beginning 7:30 p.m.
