Men's basketball up to No. 12 in poll

MINNEAPOLIS – The Salisbury University men's basketball team has jumped a handful of spots in the latest Top 25 poll, released this week.

The Sea Gulls climbed from No. 17 up to No. 12 in the latest ranking, earning 300 points. Salisbury trails No. 11 Susquehanna in the poll by just 23 points and is 73 points away from getting back into the top 10.

Salisbury moved up in the poll following a two-win week in Capital Athletic Conference action last week defeating Wesley College and winning at Marymount (Va.) University.

The Sea Gulls are in action on Wednesday, January 25 traveling to No. 3 Christopher Newport University for a CAC contest, which will leave the winner atop the league standings with seven games remaining.
