Alexa Hilty enters her first season as a graduate assistant coach with the Salisbury University men’s and women’s swimming programs in 2026-27.
A four-year member of the Sea Gulls, Hilty helped Salisbury win consecutive NJAC Championships in 2025 and 2026. She finished her career as a member of the program-record 200 and 400 freestyle relays, with the 400 freestyle relay also establishing an NJAC record. Individually, Hilty earned All-NJAC honors in the 200 freestyle and contributed to multiple all-conference relays. She capped her collegiate career as a 2026 NCAA Division III Championships qualifier, representing Salisbury in multiple relay events on the national stage.
Hilty’s impact extended beyond her performances in the pool. She received the program’s Most Outstanding Award in 2023 and concluded her career as the 2026 recipient of the Shari Burke Memorial Award, one of Salisbury Swimming’s most meaningful honors.
Hilty earned her undergraduate degree from Salisbury in 2025, double majoring in Communication with a concentration in Media Studies and English with a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric. She continued her education while competing during the 2025-26 season and is completing her master’s degree in Public Communication at Salisbury.
